CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — A former Texas corrections officer wanted in Nueces County for intoxicated manslaughter for nearly 15 years has been found living in Mexico.

The Maverick County Commissioners Court held their monthly regular meeting on Monday May 1, in which they approved to repair issues with the fire alarm system and smoke evacuation system at the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
